Modirum Defence, a leading provider of mission-critical solutions, announces a strategic leadership change. Tomi Virtanen, who has served as a CEO since 2021, will be transitioning to the Board of Directors. Elias Silvola, currently, on the role of CCO will be taking over as the company’s new CEO.

Welcoming a new Leader to Guide Continued Growth

Elias Silvola brings a strong background of experience and strategic insight to his new role as CEO. Prior to this appointment, Elias served as Sales Director and subsequently as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Modirum Defence. Before his tenure at Modirum, he gained valuable experience in financial consulting and pursued academic studies at the War Studies Department of King’s College London. His exemplary leadership skills and profound knowledge of the security and defense industries position him perfectly to steer Modirum Defence into its forthcoming phase of expansion. Elias expresses his enthusiasm for this new endeavor, stating, “I am thrilled to build upon the solid groundwork laid by Tomi and to lead our team toward further innovation and growth.”
